Kati Turner

Kati studied classical violin and piano at the Guildhall but decided not to pursue a musical careeer.  After serveral decades of sporadic playing she started to play more regularly ten or so years ago but in a more contemporary settings. She played keyboards and fiddle with a couple of original and cover bands gigging around Hampshire in local festivals and pubs. she joined ACO in 2021 and is really enjoying reconnecting with playing classical music.

Sim Jones

Sim is a professional musician, growing up in a musical family, with warm memories of learning and gigging with his siblings.  In his twenties, Sim played as a session artist on lots of albums. Sim joined ACO twenty years ago and says 'sitting alongside such great players such as Mac Newton and Christine Meers, taught me tons about bowing/intonation/discipline. It's helped me engender a genuine love of Classical music.'
